The tooth fairy started taking little boys and girls teeth who put them under the pillow or in a small container years and years ago. The tooth fairy is a close cousin to all the other special fairies in fairyland. She is the cousin of Tinkerbelle, and they usually play and fly around together getting into mischief. It all started when a little girl lost her tooth in bed one night, and the tooth fairies saw it and wanted to do something special for the little girl. Therefore, the tooth fairy left a little piece of gold for the little girl and took the tooth. Over time, all the little girls and boys heard about the story of the tooth fairy and started putting their teeth under the pillow for the tooth fairy to take. The tooth fairy did not have a lot of little gold so she started leaving small coins of money. Leaving a tooth for the tooth fairy can be lots of fun, some families leaving the tooth in a small container by the bed, while other families wrap it and put it under the pillow. Some families even write a little note for the tooth fairy to say hello and thank her for taking their tooth. That is the story of how the tooth fairy got started, and the fun part is it only happens for little gilrs and boys. The End.
