This is Sophia's new baby sister, the news you have all been waiting for! Mia is a 17 month girl who is well liked by her doctor and caregiver in the orphanage. She is responding to her name and already understands the she has a big sister named Sophia. She has a good disposition but a little mind of her own thus the middle name Antonia. Today we went to the Kodak store and made pictures of Sophia to give to Mia so she can start to get used to her face. When the doctor came in for a visit she told Mia that Tara and I were her mother and father and she nodded yes that she knew that we were. It will be a little difficult at first because she understands Kazak and Russian but no English, however when you speak to her she understands what you are saying and she will go get a toy when you point to it and ask her to bring it to us. She understands no very well but it is not her favorite word. Love David and Tara

David, Tara and Sophia, No words can express how happy we are. We are thrilled beyond words...the tears of joy have been flowing!! To see Sophia so happy this morning when she received the news and picture of her baby sister, Mia, was thrilling! Aunt Gert is also estactic! We can't wait to hold Mia and welcome her to the family!
