Today’s Update
Nice day today the weather was pretty nice about 68 degrees and sunny. This morning they allowed us to take Mia outside for a walk around the orphanage. Mia made one trip and then fell asleep for two hours. When we get home back at the hotel, we usually have a little snack in the room and then head to the business center to get online and upload the photos and text on the blog. This afternoon we had a nice visit however the bonding room is getting a little crowded there are three new couples who came in from Spain to adopt children, but we made due. We like to say that we are in the wind down mode because we all want to come home very badly. Our court date is set for Monday, which means we fly to Almaty late in the evening after court. Then on Tuesday, we go to the American consulate and prepare more paperwork. We cannot fly out until Wednesday; there is only one flight a day from Almaty to Amsterdam, at 6:30 AM. When we do fly out it will be a long journey, 7.5 hours from Almaty to Amsterdam, and the 8.5 from Amsterdam to Hartford. Due to the time difference, we leave at 6:30AM travel for 20 hours and arrive in Harford at 3:35 PM the same day. More news and updates soon. The video clip works for me! Glad to see you are well. Mia looks like a little doll...and Sophia is quite the ballerina! When will Mia be able to join you in the States? Safe trip home! devon
